What was actually photographed
The imagery comes from the 2017 study, which reported that treated animals, both the fast-ageing XpdTTD/TTD strain and naturally aged mice, showed restored fur density. That is a visible, photographable change, and images of treated versus untreated animals circulated widely when the work reached the general press.
The same study reported restored fitness, measured through physical performance, and improved renal function measured biochemically. Neither of those photographs well, which is part of why the fur images are the ones that spread.

Fur density is a legitimate visible proxy for tissue health in an ageing mouse with a defined genetic background, controlled diet and short lifespan. It was chosen because it is measurable in that model, not because it corresponds to a human outcome anyone would recognise.
Why no timeline can be given
A legitimate before-and-after requires a person, a defined dose, a defined interval, a measured outcome, and ideally a control group. Every element is missing.
There is no defined dose, because none has been established in humans. There is no expected interval, because no human pharmacokinetics exist and nobody knows how long the peptide persists in a person or how long any effect might take to appear. There is no validated outcome measure available outside a laboratory. And there is no control group, so even a genuine individual change could not be attributed to the compound.
This page therefore contains no timeline. Not because information is being withheld, but because producing one would mean inventing it.

The forum category deserves particular scepticism, and not because the people writing are dishonest. Someone experimenting with an unapproved research peptide is typically also training, changing diet, sleeping differently and often using several compounds at once. Attributing a change to one variable in that setting is not possible even with good faith on all sides.

What would have to change
Preclinical toxicology, then a phase 1 trial establishing tolerability and pharmacokinetics, then a trial designed around an outcome measured against a control group. That work has not started.
Such a trial would also need care rather than merely time. A 2023 study found that clearing senescent cells could worsen pulmonary hypertension, a reminder that the effects of senolysis are not uniformly in the direction people expect.
