The format the market settled on
A 10 mg vial of lyophilised powder, sealed under a crimped aluminium cap, with a certificate of analysis and a research-use designation. That is effectively the whole market for this compound.
There is no 5 mg or 30 mg tier, which removes the per-milligram optimisation that usually exists between sizes. Ten milligrams is a convenient quantity for laboratory work and an awkward one for anything else, which is itself informative about who the product is built for.
Formats that should stop you
Two variants turn up occasionally and both are worth walking away from.
Blends pairing FOXO4-DRI with other compounds make any single ingredient's contribution impossible to isolate, and make the certificate, if there is one, much harder to interpret.
Pre-reconstituted solution or pre-loaded devices are the clearer warning. Peptides are freeze-dried for shipping precisely because degradation accelerates once a compound is in solution. A supplier shipping it wet has either not considered stability or is relying on you not to.
You will also meet "pharma grade". There is no approved pharmaceutical version of this compound in any market, so there is no pharmaceutical standard to meet. It is decoration.

Purity is the claim made most often. Net content is the claim assumed most often and measured least often, and the two are not the same thing.
The number the certificates disagree about
Ascension publishes measured net content, which is unusual, and doing so reveals something a less transparent vendor would have concealed.
Kovera Labs certified batch 55-05260628 at 99.411% purity with net content of 11.41 mg. MZ Biolabs analysed lot 55-01260229 at 99.97% purity with net content of 8.30 mg. Both vials carried a 10 mg label.
That is roughly a 37% spread in delivered peptide across two batches of the same product, sitting behind two excellent purity results. A vial can be 99.97% pure and still contain considerably less than the label claims, because purity describes composition and net content describes quantity.
What arrives, and how to check it
A small glass vial holding a dry, usually white cake of powder under an intact crimp. The powder does not need refrigeration in transit, so a parcel arriving at room temperature is not a spoiled parcel. Cold storage matters after reconstitution.
Check the crimp is intact and the stopper undisturbed. The powder should be dry and adherent rather than wet, slurried or rattling loose. Some settling or a partially collapsed cake is normal; discolouration is not.
