Sermorelin price: the numbers in the order you meet them
List price is the anchor. Site price is the price the seller actually asks. The code price is what appears on the confirmation screen. And the per-milligram figure, which is the only one that lets you compare anything, cannot be calculated until you know what mass was in the vial.

Per milligram, and which mass you divide by
At $36.00 the arithmetic looks trivial. Ten milligrams gives $3.60 per milligram. That is the figure most comparison pages would publish and stop.
It is a division by a label claim. A label claim is a statement of intent about what the fill was supposed to be, and the only way to know what the fill actually was is for somebody to measure it. On lot 38-01260229 somebody did: MZ Biolabs in Tucson, Arizona, using HPLC-UV-MS with four detected peaks, reported 99.79 percent purity and a measured quantity of 11.31 mg against a 10 mg label, analysed on 7 February 2026 and signed on the thirteenth by Ken Pendarvis.
Dividing $36.00 by 11.31 gives $3.18 per milligram. That is a 13.1 percent overfill and a real reduction in cost per unit of material, and it belongs to that lot and nothing else. Fill quantity is a batch property. The next lot could be measured lower, and the honest way to carry this figure is as evidence that the seller publishes measured quantities at all rather than as a promise attached to your vial.
Run the same division at the other price points and the spread is wide. The site price of $72.00 works out at $7.20 per milligram on the label and $6.37 on the assayed mass. List at $99.99 is $10.00 on the label. The compound has not changed between those rows.
What the quantity tiers actually do
This is where most cost pages quietly mislead. Quantity discounts of 3, 5 and 10 percent for three, five or ten vials are taken off the list price of $99.99, which is a different starting number from the $72.00 the site asks or the $36.00 the code produces.
A percentage off a higher anchor is not automatically a better outcome than a fixed price off a lower one, and the two mechanisms are computed separately. There is one reliable method here and it is not arithmetic on this page: build the cart both ways and read the two confirmation totals.
Free shipping starts at $250, and a single vial at the coded price is nowhere near it. If the code applied to every vial in a larger cart it would take seven of them to clear the threshold, which is a different purchase from the one most readers arrived to make. Comparing two sellers without fooling yourself
Almost every per-milligram comparison published for research peptides mixes its bases, and the mixing always runs in the direction that flatters whoever wrote the page.
There are two things to hold constant. The first is the price point. A figure computed from a coupon price cannot be set against one computed from a list price, and both numbers are usually presented as though they are simply the price. The second is the mass basis. A per-milligram figure from a label claim and one from a weighed result answer different questions, and the second only exists when a seller publishes measured net content, which most do not.
On this listing both bases are available, which is why the same vial can be honestly described as $10.00, $7.20, $6.37, $3.60 or $3.18 per milligram depending on which pair of assumptions you use. None of those numbers is a lie. Only one pair of them describes what you will actually pay for what you will actually receive.
When a comparison page gives you a single figure with no stated basis, the useful response is to ask which price and which mass, and to notice how often there is no answer.
What the first order costs beyond the vial
Free shipping starts at $250, and a single vial at $36.00 is a long way below that. So the honest first-order total is the vial plus carriage, and carriage on a small parcel is not a rounding error against a $36.00 item.
This is where the quantity tiers start to look different. Their appeal is not really the 3, 5 or 10 percent, which is modest. It is that a larger cart crosses the shipping threshold, and the shipping line disappears from every vial in it rather than from one.
Whether that is worth doing depends on something the price cannot tell you, which is whether you want several vials of the same lot. Buying three of one batch means one certificate covers all of them, which is tidy. It also means one testing scope covers all of them, and on lot 38-01260229 that scope excludes endotoxin and sterility.
The comparison readers actually want, and why it is not like-for-like
The question underneath most sermorelin price searches is whether a vial is cheaper than a clinic, and the answer is yes in the same way a bag of flour is cheaper than a bakery.
A research vial is a single transaction. You pay once, nothing recurs, and no clinician is involved at any point. A compounding pharmacy fill is one line inside a clinical relationship: an assessment, whatever laboratory work the prescriber asks for, the compounded preparation itself, and follow-up on an interval the prescriber sets rather than one you choose.
The pharmacy route also produces something the vial does not, which is accountability. There is a pharmacist of record, a state board, and a dispensing record with your name on it. That is not a line item, but it is what the difference in price is largely buying.
Sermorelin is unusual in having that route available at all. It was an approved US drug, Geref, under NDA 019863 for pituitary diagnostics and NDA 020443 approved on 26 September 1997 for therapeutic use, both from EMD Serono, and both now discontinued with FDA's record stating the product was not discontinued or withdrawn for safety or effectiveness reasons. It is also absent from FDA's Category 2 bulk substances list in every section, while ibutamoren mesylate appears there under both 503A and 503B. Setting a per-vial figure beside a monthly programme fee and calling one cheaper is comparing a purchase with a service. Both may be reasonable choices. They are not the same choice.
What the price does not include
It does not include testing scope. The certificate for lot 38-01260229 reports purity and quantity, and carries no endotoxin test and no sterility test. FDA's stated concern for the peptides it did place in Category 2 is the "risk for immunogenicity ... due to the potential for aggregation and peptide-related impurities", which is an impurities question that a purity figure only partly addresses. A lower price with a fuller panel and a higher price with a thinner one are both possible, and the panel is a batch property rather than a brand property.
It does not include evidence, either. The approved indications were paediatric growth hormone deficiency and pituitary diagnostics. PubMed returns 332 papers mentioning sermorelin, three with it in the title, and zero for sermorelin and anti-aging, while ClinicalTrials.gov registers no studies naming it. Whatever a milligram costs, that is what the milligram has been studied for.
And it does not include the thing many buyers are silently pricing, which is growth hormone itself. Sermorelin is a secretagogue: it binds the GHRH receptor on the anterior pituitary and prompts release of the body's own growth hormone.
